What a GREAT Show – There’s much more to come!

London 2012 will stand out as a shining example of British Excellence for a long time to come. It’s a Great show – our best medal performance since 1908; our Gold medal rankings; Great British cycling; superb dressage – the Great athletics show which has glued me to the TV each night for the last 2 weeks – Usain Bolt’s double – absolutely brilliant. It’s not over yet and if the opening ceremony is anything to go by the closing one will be stunning.

What next?

We are planning for a Great Autumn. In some ways we want to keep the Olympic flame burning. We want to build on 2012’s summer of opportunity and turn it into growth. I want to spend a little time outlining to you some of the things we are doing and more importantly what we are going to do. I would like to ask you to join me in promoting growth opportunity.
