Catherine joined the British Consulate General, Houston in February 2005. A German major at The Colorado College, she later moved to Tokyo, Japan to teach English at a private conversation school. After rising to the position of Regional Trainer, she left to work in a Japanese business software company. Returning to Houston in 2001, Catherine worked at the Houston World Affairs Council.
