Business is GREAT – Polish companies visit the UK and find a plethora of business opportunity in the UK’s automotive sector

DSC_0022The UK has a GREAT automotive sector. British engineering is at the heart of Formula 1 the leading global icon of motoring excellence and innovation. Over the last 10 years the automotive supply chain in Poland has flourished. Poland is now a well established partner in the UK’s global automotive supply chain. We thought the sector was worth a much closer look. That’s why we took an early flight with 5 leading Polish automotive supply chain companies to visit a recent UKTI led automotive Business is GREAT campaign in London. What did we find?

– There is no strong economy without strong industry and there is no strong industry without a strong automotive sector

– Poland has got strong automotive experience and natural skills for engineering; Poland offers an excellent cost advantage especially on labour intensive engineered products

– The UK is designing and producing some GREAT global automotive brands

Automotive Business is GREAT identified lots of synergies and business opportunities for British Polish motoring partnership. The key to this partnership is blending design and engineering excellence together in a way which creates a global product. Supply chain, route to market and cost efficiencies are of paramount importance. There is lots the Polish sectors can be doing in the UK and the UK has a lot to benefit from in supply chain led exports based on Polish inward investment in the UK.

After all both our nations love cars and have a passion for business.

Business is GREAT – British Polish Automotive Trade and Investment here we come!
