More British exports in Poland? Bring it on!

This is a call for mid-size British business to take a closer look at Poland. Are you a mid-size business? Are you a mid-size business which makes something… something which adds value?

If so I really want to hear from you.

It’s dead easy to come and see me. If you are already doing business in Germany I am now four hours by fast motorway all the way from Berlin. If you are not you can easily get to see me by plane – central Warsaw, just two hours away. Check in at home and take hand baggage and you’re in the City centre just 20 minutes from getting off the aircraft.

The point I want to make is it’s easy to get here and we really want to see you.

This week we want to target 50 British Mid-Size Businesses who manufacture. A surprise?

The UK is GREAT at manufacturing. Some stats:

  • UK manufacturing is 12% of GDP
  • It supports 3m jobs
  • We are in the top 10 global manufacturers by GVA
  • Over 50% of UK exports are manufactured goods
  • Manufacturing accounts for over 70% of all UK R&D spending
  • UK pharmaceuticals and aerospace sectors are world leading with food and drink the UK’s biggest manufacturing sector

We want to see much more British exports in Poland!

I am fully convinced there is opportunity for you over here. 50 Mid-Size British Businesses all selling £10m more to a brand new market Poland – that’s £500m more sales to the fastest growing market in Europe. One of the GREAT things about Poland is that the economy is only 20 years old; another interesting point to note is there is lots of room to grow as we climb the world’s economic rankings – we are the world’s 22nd, upwardly mobile ranked economy. People say we have another 20 years to go to catch the big EU markets. That means solid, sustainable potential.

UK Mid-Size Business Calling – just think what that can do to your top and bottom line – don’t miss out! Call us now – we really want to enthuse you with the confidence to seek new opportunity on the UK’s doorstep.

  1. Martin,

I am just reading this on a mobile heading Warsaw-Torun. Very interesting reading throughout…and absolutely true!

I would hope British exporters are frothing at the mouth over Poland’s massive opportunity throughout this large and increasingly dynamic nation…

PS liked the post about classic cars / sports cars too!
