David Concar was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Somalia in succession to Ms Harriet Mathews OBE. Mr Concar joined the FCO in 2004 and most recently headed FCO’s Head of International Organisations Department and Commonwealth Envoy. Mr Concar has also served as the Head of Climate Change & Energy Department at the FCO.
