I’m Rebecca Jiang, the Senior Science and Innovation Officer based in the British Consulate General Chongqing. I dedicate myself to two roles in SIN China. One is the lead contact for UK-China collaboration on future manufacturing and advanced materials sectors, and the other is to look after UK’s science and innovation relationship with four Southwest China provinces (Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou).

In my 10 years’ time with FCO, I have also worked UKVI and the Climate Change and Energy network. That experience help to build my expertise in programme and project management, clean energy, emission trading and sustainable manufacturing. In my current role, I would be keen to feed you with exciting news about latest developments in China’s manufacturing and materials sector innovation. So, please keep an eye on this blog!
