UK in NL at the Invictus Games in The Hague
The Invictus Games have finally come to The Hague! The British Embassy in The Hague is delighted to welcome Team UK to the Netherlands, and we wish them the best of luck.
From 16-22 April, we’ll also be present at the Games! Come visit our tent in the Zuiderpark, where you can meet British businesses developing innovative adaptive equipment, and hear more about accessible tourism to the UK and inclusive arts.

The UKinNL tent
The UK tent is open every day from 9:00-19:00* with a range of activities from our partners.
* On Saturday 16 April the tent will close at 16:00.
Everyday at 11:30 and 14:30 the British Council will hold a children’s story time.
Wheelair
WheelAir’s vision is to create a world where every wheelchair user feels comfortable and in control of their temperature and skin microclimate. With years of product design experience, clinical partnerships, and input from wheelchair users, the WheelAir team understands how to tackle problems caused by heat, sweat, and moisture. WheelAir is the first temperature, humidity, and moisture control system designed specifically for, and to fit all, wheelchairs. By dispersing air evenly across your back or seat using the patented channel technology, it helps avoid issues caused by overheating and (over) sweating while keeping skin dry and clean.
Impact VR Research Lab at Sheffield Hallam University

The Impact VR Research Lab has developed a suite of immersive, interactive Virtual Reality (VR) rehabilitation systems for paediatric and adult patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, orthopaedic trauma, and chronic pain. The impact achieved by these innovations has been fourfold: physically and/or psychologically enhancing the health, lifestyles, and wellbeing of patients; promoting more effective practitioner standards and services; improving public awareness and understanding of such technology and entering a related debate on social policy; and establishing commercial and medical collaborations to further improve healthcare and cost-effectiveness
ICE Trikes
Inspired Cycle Engineering (ICE) has been producing three wheel recumbent trikes / tricycles in Falmouth, England since 1999 but it can trace its history back to the original Trice first produced in 1986. This hard earned experience coupled with the sheer pleasure of developing our unique recumbents drives us on to continually refine our trike designs and hone the comfort and performance of each machine.
ICE Trikes range of premium recumbent trike models, each one built to order by our expert team, delivers the most refined and comfortable ride available today, with the performance of a thoroughbred. 3 wheel adult trikes, 3 wheel racing bikes or recumbent trikes as they are known.
