The Invictus Games have finally come to The Hague! The British Embassy in The Hague is delighted to welcome Team UK to the Netherlands, and we wish them the best of luck.

From 16-22 April, we’ll also be present at the Games! Come visit our tent in the Zuiderpark, where you can meet British businesses developing innovative adaptive equipment, and hear more about accessible tourism to the UK and inclusive arts.

Find out more about what’s  up at the UKinNL tent, as well as more information about accessible Britain.

* On Saturday 16 April the tent will close at 16:00.

Everyday at 11:30 and 14:30 the British Council will hold a children’s story time.

WheelAir’s vision is to create a world where every wheelchair user feels comfortable and in control of their temperature and skin microclimate. With years of product design experience, clinical partnerships, and input from wheelchair users, the WheelAir team understands how to tackle problems caused by heat, sweat, and moisture. WheelAir is the first temperature, humidity, and moisture control system designed specifically for, and to fit all, wheelchairs. By dispersing air evenly across your back or seat using the patented channel technology, it helps avoid issues caused by overheating and (over) sweating while keeping skin dry and clean.

As the British Embassy and Consulate General in the Netherlands we know everything there is to know about the UK-Dutch relationship. We are also home to the UK's delegations to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and the international courts based in The Hague. It is our job to build on the strong ties between our two countries, covering political co-operation, businesses and trade, security and defence, and people to people connections.

Our multilateral teams work in the city of peace and justice to uphold human rights, reduce and resolve conflict, and ensure a fairer world for all. We also provide consular information and assistance to UK nationals studying, travelling, and working in the Netherlands.

Find more information on our work on our social media pages and via the GOV.UK website. Take a look around!
