Corruption is a big problem in Ukraine. The country is at place 146 out of 180 countries in Transparency International’s 2009 Corruption Perceptions Index alongside Cameroon, Ecuador, Kenya, Russia, Sierra Leone, Timor-Leste and Zimbabwe.
