Soft Skills in Hard Times videoblog series (VI): Dana Tane

Next up in our list of video blogs is Dana Tane, who has worked for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement around the world, from Ethiopia to Nepal. In this piece she looks at the challenges currently faced by humanitarian workers.

Dana Tane was one of main speakers for the project’s seminar in  November. She was joined by Dame Mariot Leslie,  former British Permanent Representative to NATO, Raed Arafat – Secretary of State within the Interior Ministry, and Madalina Vlangar – Internal Affairs Attaché at the Romanian Embassy in Spain. The  ‘Nothing Quiet on the Eastern and Western Fronts’ seminar focused on the work of Romanian and British women in promoting peace, security and humanitarian support.
