GREAT Mini Run Kraków to Budapest

6 GREAT hours of opportunity WOW!  We travelled the scenic route from Kraków to Budapest. Some GREAT mountain ranges providing a superb backdrop for the 3 GREAT Polish Minis: GREAT Mini One; GREAT Mini Cooper and GREAT Mini Countryman. A GREAT run and lots of opportunity along the route. One thing really sticks out – a GREAT big road and rail modernisation programme.

A key thing here is building roads which link this part of Europe together. The Tatra triangle – Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Some difficult terrain – where are those GREAT British design and civil engineering companies. Loads to do – lots to think about and between now and 2020 a GREAT big pot of EU funding to support it.

Same for the rail network – we passed some interesting rail and rolling stock projects along the route. Zakopane is Poland’s GREAT ski resort. Warsaw to Zakopane by train to get to those GREAT slopes takes too long. A GREAT British consortium has just won a contract to modernise that route. There are many more such opportunities in Poland as the country grapples with modernising one of the largest rail networks in Poland. Lots of room for GREAT British innovation and technology here.

Just for the record we passed at least 10 Tesco supermarkets along the route – not surprising really – there’s over a 1,000 stores in the Emerging Europe region. GREAT British food and drink companies – just think what getting into Tescos network in this region would do to your volumes!
