GREAT Mini and all that Slag

Bet you are all wondering what all this is about then? Transport infrastructure in Emerging is undergoing a revolution. All the countries in the region are attracting lots of business – that’s easy to understand as there are 100 million consumers in this part of the world. What’s really needed is roads and rail infrastructure.

Our GREAT Mini knows that all too well – its wills were in need of a massage last night having driven down to Kraków yesterday. So where does the slag bit come in yet.

Well – Slag Recycling is a GREAT company which started out in life processing the waste materials from the steel industry in Kraków to produce aggregates for roads. Slag Recycling is the company which supplied aggregates to Krakow to renew its famous main square – lots of aggregates actually as Kraków has one of the biggest main squares in Europe.

There are HUGE GREAT opportunities for road and rail building in Krakow, Poland and Emerging Europe. It’s quite a difficult sector but there are GREAT opportunities. WE are doing a webinar on this tomorrow from the Hungaroring in Budapest. GREAT link there – Fast cars need fast roads – innovation and technology is key.

The world time clock line up in Slag Recycling’s reception – Krakow – London – Barnsley and the GREAT photos of 1400 degree molten slag being collected for aggregrate production are an excellent illustration of GREAT British Polish business in action.

Talking of which we need GREAT roads in Emerging Europe for our GREAT Big Red Bus – talking of which where’s that Bus – GREAT Emerging Europe – Follow THE BUS – where are you?
