Anna Loe Nsubuga is the UK’s Ambassador and Permanent Delegate Designate to UNESCO. She took up this Post in July 2023. An experienced public and social policy professional, Anna has worked at community, national, regional and international levels across a range of policy areas.

Anna has 3 decades of experience working in the non-profit, public and private sectors. Her areas of expertise include further education and adult learning, girls and women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, European affairs, programme management, and stakeholder engagement. Anna has an honours degree in International Relations with French from the University of Kent.
