The FCO has a well established reputation for its digital work. At the heart of driving change is the Digital Transformation Unit, a talented team made up of diplomats and digital specialists working on digital solutions crucial to the UK – tackling conflict, increasing prosperity and helping Brits in trouble overseas.

Here’s what’s coming up:-

The Head of Digital Engagement who will set the vision and strategy for the FCO’s cutting edge digital communications and digital policy transformation work. This is a truly exciting opportunity to use your knowledge of innovative digital comms and engagement skills to work on the top foreign policy priorities. The environment is fast paced and we’re looking for someone who combines digital expertise with editorial judgement, campaign and evaluation knowledge, people management skills and of course energy. In return you’ll join a creative, friendly team, where your work will make a difference.

The Digital Training & Upskilling Officer will drive forward our Digital Curriculum, developing and delivering training that supports FCO staff to make full use of digital tools in communications, policy work and service transformation. This crucial role will ensure the FCO has the capability to meet the challenges and opportunities of a digital world.

Our Digital Transformation Managers will drive forward the transformation of our public-facing services and work with our Technology colleagues to assess internal services suitable for digital transformation. As part of our small team this is your chance to work on some of the most interesting transactions in Government. Your expertise will help drive culture change and build capability across our global network.
