Hej there! I'm Daniel Cartridge, a diplomat based at the British Embassy in Stockholm, and Head of the Science & Innovation Network in the Nordics. With my team, I look after the S&I relationship in the region, focussing on Sweden, Denmark and Finland, but also Norway and Iceland if we spot a great opportunity! Prior to joining the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, I worked on EU issues, trade and smart regulation at the Department for Business Innovation & Skills. I am currently trying to learn Swedish - but as I don't plan on blogging about giving directions, holidays and shopping I will probably stick to English on the blog!
