Jamila Gontijo Piffer has joined the Embassy in July 2012 as Deputy Head of Communications and Public Diplomacy. She is a journalist with strong background of the political scenario as per her previous experience covering the National Congress for six years as a TV reporter. She has also worked with Communications at the Ministry of Comunications, Education and Culture. On her spare time, she writes for a gastronomy blog and practice her artistic side - making up for her Bachalor Degree in Fine Arts -singing in a jazz and folk music bands.
