I’m talking to you this morning in the middle of a big conference that we are holding in the Embassy on wind energy. We have about 200 business people, about 50/50 French and British, who are first of all learning about the opportunities in the British energy market.

Also, it is an opportunity for British companies coming to France and looking for partnerships with French firms.
This is a moment in the UK where we have just published legislation which is going to give investors long term, stable, transparent frameworks to invest in both nuclear energy in the UK and in renewables and green energies.
This is a really important sector for the Government, where we need the Government and industry to work together. And today is an opportunity for the Embassy to bring French and Businessmen together.
