More of the S&I Canada Team: Gill Wallace

No team introductions would be complete (and really there is still one more to go after this ;P) without the introduction to the very important, but perhaps somewhat unsung role of the S&I Assistant!

Our assistant Gill is fabulous!  Working on a part-time basis (2 days a week – Mondays and Wednesdays), she keeps on top of all those administrative things that make life run that much more smoothly! As part of her role, Gill takes care of all of us, all across the country, running the budgets and keeping track of all our numbers, keeping tabs on travel arrangements (where needed), helping to organise and smoothly execute events (without her help, the Science Quiz wouldn’t have been quite so successful as it was!)…all of that and more!

Although Gill is the “team” assistant, she works in Ottawa with me, so I get the benefit of her quiet, calm and friendly manner on a more regular basis. On her days in the office, Gill is not only busy with SIN team business, but she is also keeping me company and providing me with her thoughts and opinions on all of my harebrained ideas ;P (for which I am always grateful)!
